Soak
Add the brewed infusion to a sitz bath or full tub of warm water. For continued release, the sachet may be placed directly in the bath.

Q: What is in this tea bag?
A: Witch hazel leaf, calendula flower, yarrow, and lavender. All herbs traditionally used in postpartum recovery care.

Q: How do I use it?
A: Place the tea sachet in a bowl or pot and cover with boiling water. Steep for 20 minutes, or longer for a more concentrated infusion (up to 1 hour). Let the infusion cool to a comfortable temperature, then use it in a shallow sitz bath, pour into a peri bottle for gentle rinsing, apply as a warm or cool compress, use as a perineal spray, or pour over a pad to make a padsicle.
For a peri bottle, we recommend starting with approximately ½ cup of the prepared infusion, then filling the remainder with cool or lukewarm water. You can adjust the amount to your preferred strength.

Q: What are padsicles?
A: Padsicles are postpartum pads soaked in herbal infusion and frozen. They provide cooling, soothing relief for perineal soreness and swelling in the early days after birth. Pour the cooled herbal infusion directly onto a pad, fold, and freeze. You can use as much or as little infusion as you'd like.

Q: Can I use the brewed tea sachet as a compress?
A: Yes! After brewing, the tea sachet can be used as a warm or cool compress. Simply remove it from the water, allow it to cool to a comfortable temperature, and apply it as a compress. The brewed sachet is intended for same-day use.

Q: Can I use the infusion as a spray?
A: Yes. Once cooled, pour the infusion into a clean spray bottle and use it as a refreshing perineal spray, or spray it directly onto pads as needed.

Q: How long can I keep the prepared infusion?
A: Once prepared, the infusion should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 2 days. We don't recommend leaving the prepared infusion at room temperature.

Q: Is this safe after a C-section?
A: Yes. The herbal infusion can be used as a soothing bath soak to support healing and soften skin after a C-section. Always follow your care provider's guidance on bathing and wound care.

Q: How is this different from the full-size Herbal Sitz Bath tin?
A: The tea sachet is pre-portioned and mess-free. No straining required—ideal for the early postpartum days when ease matters most. The full-size tin is a loose herb blend that also includes Epsom salt, giving you multiple uses at a lower cost per bath. The tea sachet is a great way to try it first or to have on hand for convenience.

Q: Can I use this in a full bath?
A: Yes. Add the steeped infusion to a full bath. It soothes and softens skin beautifully.

Due to the high cost of international return shipping, all international orders are considered final sale.
